MY PHOTOGRAPHY BUCKET LIST 2017

This year is going to be amazing. New adventures around the corner to conquer and check it off the list.  I love to make Bucket Lists.  And why not make one for my photography.  Now that summer is just around the corner, I feel the options are the limitless.  Pinterest, is where I dream of being apart of the weddings and bridal sessions.  Wishing and dreaming away.  Well this year, I have a few things to start my list.

Do you have a wedding or bridals coming up that might be on my list, I would love to be a part of your special day.  Please contact me!
take your pick:
  • Romantic Beach Formal/Bridals– I’ve lived on the beach for 16 years of my life and it is home to me.  I’d love to shoot a gorgeous couple with that bohemian style.
  • Antelope Island – Imagine, rich vast natural beauty and white sand beaches.   Can you see it now, a beautiful bride watching sunsets amongst the gentle slopes of rocky foothills? Think this is your style?  Send me a message.
  • Trash the Dress – Water for sure, or a campfire snuggle
  • Canoe – on a lazy little lake, glass of wine [or sparkling apple cider]....dreamy
  • S. Utah Red Rock Bridals or Wedding – I’m in love with white dresses against red rock in southern Utah. It’s dramatic, romantic, and totally on my bucket list.
  • Little Sahara Sand Dunes – Rolling sandy hills as far as the eye can see.  The creativity that would be flowing in a place like that.   It would be gorgeous too!
  • Incredible Dress – I want to photograph a dress with a seriously WOW factor. A dress that is a pale grey/blue, blush pink or even a lavender colour. I’d love to photograph a unique style. Do you have a dress likes this?

my “check” list:
  • Lavender Fields – Last year, I had the fun pleasure of doing a styled shoot at sunrise.  It was breath taking, a lot of work but oh so worth it.  It was dreamy and romantic, surrounded by all that purple.

Stay tuned for updates!

BRIDLE UP HOPE

I had the privilege to give my time to this great cause and shot a bunch of work for this foundation.  The work that Bridle Up Hope is doing is amazing.  Their mission as it states on their site “ is to inspire hope and confidence in young women through equestrian training. “  They also believe that there “is a special bond that exists between a girl and her horse, a bond that can help YW overcome personal struggles and build confidence.”

My niece was apart of this program and when I went to her graduation program and saw how wonderful this program was and the confidence that she gained, I knew I wanted to give and share my time and talent of photography to help them.   I gave them my business card and 3 months later I received my first phone call.

I was over the moon when I took these pictures and couldn’t wait to get them home to edit.

Oh by the way, did I mention - horses scare me!  Maybe this can help me too.

Santa and Mrs Claus

I was like a little girl in a candy store when I was taking these pictures.  I love how the red of Santa's suit is bright against the green of the crisp of the pine trees.  It was the day of the frost and the tree's where perfect.  He has been spreading cheer around this Christmas holiday.  If you, your family or your company is looking for a Santa couple, check out my friend. Salt Lake Santa on facebook. He's available anywhere from Slat Lake to Utah County and beyond.  Give him a call, they are fabulous!
